Miksha Jagwanth
Occupational Therapist

Miksha completed her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, specialising in Perceptual & Neurological Disorders. She has worked across paediatric private practice, special-needs education, community health, and vocational rehabilitation in both South Africa and New Zealand.
Her experience spans workplace assessments, graduated return-to-work planning, early intervention, and injury prevention, as well as supporting children with sensory and motor development needs. She is trained in approaches such as Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), DIR/Floortime, Sensory Integration and Concussion Management.
Miksha brings a holistic approach to her practice and is passionate about helping people of all ages regain independence and thrive in their daily lives. Outside of work, she enjoys dance, spending time with her whānau, and discovering adventures and little hidden treasures around New Zealand.
