We are looking forward to seeing you in person at our clinic. Due to the requirements from the Ministry of Health, things will look a bit different at the clinics and it won’t be business as usual yet.
This document outlines what you can expect from your physiotherapy session and the measures we are taking throughout The traffic light alert system to ensure the safety of you, our other patients, and our staff.

If you have any questions or concerns about your appointment please don’t hesitate to contact us immediately.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO UNDERSTAND PRIOR TO YOU APPOINTMENT
Screening before and when you attend your clinic appointment
At the time you book your appointment you will need to check our covid screening, which you will be texted a link to prior to your appointment. This is to ensure you do not have any Covid-19 symptoms or other risk factors that would mean a face to face appointment would not be possible at that time.
If you have cold/flu symptoms or you or someone in your household has a confirmed case of Covid-19, we will need to reschedule your appointment or change it to a telehealth appointment.
If you develop any symptoms between booking and attending your appointment, you must call to cancel the face-to-face appointment and seek medical advice. Please arrange a telehealth appointment if you are showing any signs of other illnesses, including a sore throat, fever, cough, shortness of breath, or recent loss of taste or smell.
Support people and family members
It is preferred that only our patients are in the clinic during “traffic light red”; however a carer, guardian or family members including children, may be allowed to accompany you in appropriate circumstances so long as they also pass the same pre-screening process. To enable contact tracing they must also register their full contact details at reception.
Consent form
Our administration team will email you a consent form for you to complete and return to us electronically prior to your appointment. If you are unable to complete the form electronically, your physio will complete the consent form and ACC registration form (if applicable) with you during the appointment. Please note, this may impact on your treatment time.
Advice for patients at higher risk of illness
If you consider yourself at higher risk of illness, please notify us. One of our physiotherapists will call you to discuss things further and you will then be able to make an informed decision about whether you choose to attend the clinic or use telehealth.
