Neurological Physiotherapy

Neurological physiotherapy involves the assessment and treatment of people with movement and function disorders arising from the nervous and neuromuscular system. 

Common conditions a neurological physiotherapist can assist with include:

• Balance disorders

• Neuromuscular conditions

• Age related changes of both brain and body

In a session we not only support symptom management but aim to educate on how and why symptoms are occurring and most importantly what can be done to manage them through therapeutic activities and exercises. 

We are able to assess and treat a wide range of impairments. The benefits include:

We are experienced neurological Physiotherapists providing individualized, evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation.

We offer clinic based appointments which are available at our central city clinic at Willis Street Physiotherapy or Five Rivers Medical Centre in Greytown, where appropriate and necessary we can also visit you at home.

You can self-refer for a neurological assessment or your doctor/specialist can refer you.

Private Neurological Initial - $190 for up to 1.5 hour session

Private Neurological Follow-up - $160 for up to 1 hour session

*Please note that for this service we are unable to offer CSC discount.

*Home visiting will incur additional charges please discuss at the time of booking the appointment
