Abbey has been based in a private practice clinic in Dunedin for the first 2 years of her career. She has spent this time treating a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and working in an aged-care facility with elderly residents. She has also been involved with treating sports injuries from a football and roller derby team.

Abbey utilises a combination of manual therapy, education and exercises to facilitate recovery from injuries. She is also experienced with level 1,2 and 3 mat Pilates and has taught various Pilates classes, including pre-natal and post-natal classes. She is passionate about applying these Pilates principles to improve body alignment, posture, strength and flexibility.

Outside of work Abbey enjoys spending time outdoors, beaches, paddle boarding and tramping. Abbey also enjoys being around animals and volunteers at the spca to help out with the dogs.
